2020 Levantine Hill Pinot Noir

An assemblage of 15 individual parcels sourced from Levantine Hill’s Maroondah Highway vineyard with ageing taking place in 100% French oak 500-litre puncheons, 300-litre hogsheads and 228-litre barriques (20% new) for a period of 10 months.
Semi translucent red colour with a light brick red hue. Intense red to dark cherry, rhubarb and strawberry scents infused with dried herbs gracefully sail from the glass trailed by some violet, brambly cedar, forest floor and spice notes. Delicious dark cherry, strawberry and rhubarb flavours carry ample richness and a gorgeously supple mouthfeel. Lending complexity through the back half are dried herb, brambly cedar, forest floor and spice elements. Boasting excellent power and silken tannins it concludes long and expansive.
Drink over the next 5-6 years.
