2020 Levantine Hill Chardonnay

Fermented and matured in a mix of premium French oak sourced from Mercurey, Saint Martin, Taransaud, Cavin and Doreau cooperages (22% new) for a period 10 months.
Brilliant pale straw colour with greenish tinged edges and a watery hue. Pronounced white peach and nectarine aromas are married to dried honey, biscuity oak, nougat, cashew and spice notes. Rich and creamy yet wonderfully refined, the mid weighted palate is decorated with white peach, nectarine and dried honey flavours which meld into a complex back drop of biscuity oak, cashew, nougat and spice. A wine of outstanding power, texture and balance that has a long, sophisticated Burgundy like finish.
Drink over the next 5-6 years.
