2020 Levant By Levantine Hill Cabernet Sauvignon

A blend of 88% Cabernet Sauvignon, 8% Merlot, 2% Cabernet Franc and 2% Petit Verdot aged in a mix of standard and large format French oak casks (10% new) for a period of 21 months. Dark red in colour with black shaded edges and a dark red hue. Elevated red currant and mulberry fruits intermingle with stalky cedar, tobacco leaf and faint bay leaf notes. Light to medium weight and very elegant in its feel the palate features a mix of mulberry and red currant fruit over stalky cedar, tobacco leaf and dried herb characters. Fine boned tannin structure with relatively bright acidity and a medium length aftertaste.
Drink over the next 3-4 years.
