2020 Lenton Brae Southside Chardonnay

From vines planted in 1982, wild fermented and matured in new and used French oak barriques.

Brilliant pale straw colour with greenish tinged edges and a watery hue. Aromas of pear and apple mix with dried honey, light roasted almond notes and spice. Fleshy pear and nectarine fruits overlay citrus, light nougat, roasted almond and spice characters. Finishes dry and fresh with a medium length aftertaste.
Drink over the next 2-3 years.
