Matured in new and 3 year old French oak hogsheads. Very deep dark red black colour with a dark red hue. Aniseed and dark plum aromas meld into smoky vanillin cedar, fennel and peppered earth like notes. Medium to full in body, fleshy liquorice, blackberry and dark plum fruits overlay scorched earth, vanillin cedar and blackpepper characters. Polished yet sturdy tannin structure concluding long, juicy and peppery.
