2020 Leconfield Coonawarra Merlot

Totally opaque black dark red colour with a dark red hue. Sailing out of the glass are aromas of ripe red currant and mulberry which are trailed by some cedary tobacco, earth and bay leaf notes. Medium bodied and showing good refinement the palate is generously endowed with ripe red currant and mulberry fruits which are underscored by vanillin cedar, spicy tobacco and delicate bay leaf infusions. Well integrated fine grained tannins. The juicy like red fruited finish showing good length.
Drink over the next 5-6 years.
