2020 Le Pigeoulet

A blend of 80% Grenache, 10% Syrah, 5% Carignan and 5% Cinsault. Very deep dark red black colour with a dark red hue. Escaping out of the glass are pepper infused black raspberry and liquorice fruits followed by earth, dried meat and herbs du Provence. Rich seductive black raspberry and liquorice fruits drive the full bodied palate with some black cherry, scorched earth and peppered dried meat nuances lying underneath. Robust mouthfeel with ripe, slightly chewy tannins. Good underlying acidity with a long lusciously fruited yet sturdy finish.
Drink over the next 5-6 years.
