Made with certified-organic fruit, the Le Chiuse 2020 Rosso di Montalcino is bright and punchy, showing energy and electricity along the way. There are some terrific Rossos on the market now, and this streamlined, elegant style is exactly what you what from this entry-level wine. Cassis and sour cherry merge with lilac and spring violets. Production is 13,300 bottles. Drink 2022 - 2025.

Ripe berry, violet and baking spice aromas emerge from the glass along with a whiff of mint. Elegant and savory, the bright, polished palate features juicy red cherry, raspberry compote and star anise accompanied by taut, refined tannins and tangy acidity. It has great youthful tension and can be enjoyed now or over the next several years. Drink through 2028.
