2020 Langmeil Three Gardens Grenache Shiraz Mataro

A blend of 31% Grenache, 29% Shiraz, 29% Mataro, 5.5% Carignan and 5.5% Counoise matured in seasoned oak for 14 months. Totally opaque black core with a dark red hue. Fragrant dark raspberry, plum and liquorice scents mix with ripe blueberries, vanillin cedar and spicy earth. Soft, juicy and fleshy the mid weighted palate is layered with rich dark raspberry, liquorice and ripe blueberry fruits. Subtle scorched earth and pepper elements lie underneath. Finishes with velvety tannins and a lick of freshness to the long succulent aftertaste.
Drink over the next 3-4 years.
