2020 Langmeil Rough Diamond Grenache

A blend of 89% Grenache and 11% Counoise matured in old American oak for 8 months. Deep dark red black tinged colour with a bright purple red hue. Dark raspberry, red cherry and red liquorice aromas are followed by hints of confectionary and spicy earth. Succulent dark raspberry, ripe cherry and liquorice fruits show excellent intensity across the mid weighted palate. Subtle earth and vanillin cedar characters lie underneath. Spicy finish with velvety tannins and a long juicy dark fruited aftertaste.
Drink over the next 4-5 years.
