2020 Kooyonga Creek Heathcote Shiraz

Aged in French oak for 12 months. Midnight black in colour with a dark red black hue. Lifted liquorice and dark plum scents mix with toasty oak, scorched earth, hints of leather and pepper. Juicy black cherry, liquorice and dark plum fruits sit over a toasty oak back drop that also sees some leathery black olive and black pepper characters emerge. Sturdy tannins give the wine a firm yet opulent mouthfeel. Concludes with lingering toasty oak characters.
Drink over the next 2-3 years.
