2020 Kirrihill The Squire of Clare Shiraz

Black as night heart with a very deep dark purple black hue. Pronounced aromas of liquorice and black cherry are followed by some smoky vanillin cedar, graphite, black olive and peppered dried meat notes. Rich and weighty the opulently textured palate is flooded with liquorice, black cherry and blackberry fruit. Subtlety toasted vanillin cedar, graphite and peppered earth elements also chime in underneath. A firm sturdy tannin structure gives the back half a muscular feel. Excellent power concluding long and lush yet structured.
Drink over the next 6-8 years.
