2020 Kalleske Clarry’s GSM

Certified organic, Clarry’s is a blend of 39% Grenache, 38% Shiraz and 23% Mataro. Totally opaque black dark red colour with a dark red hue. Somewhat subdued at first the nose slowly evolves in the glass, revealing peppered dark raspberry, liquorice, graphite and dried herb notes. Mid weighted the juicy palate is loaded with pepper and spice along with some dark raspberry, liquorice and vanillin confectionary characters. Slightly grainy but otherwise polished tannins with bright acidity and a medium length conclusion.
Drink over the next 2-3 years.
