Inky black dark purple colour with a youthful purple hue. Freshly crushed dark cherry, blueberry and liquorice aromas combine with inky earth and spicy dried herb notes. Medium bodied, rich dark cherry and liquorice flavours are both juicy and inky in their feel with earth, subtle tobacco and spice lying underneath. Bright acidity with slightly chalky tannins and a savoury finish.
Drink over the next 2-3 years.
Alc. 13%

Other Reviews…..
Claret through the prism of natural wine. There’s a few bowties spinning right now.
Claret life, oh yeah. Medium weight, succulent, dark berries, choc-nut tannin profile trimming things down and drawing them long. Woody spice, chewiness, mouth-watering acidity ala pomegranate juice. Fantastic balance, easy and gliding across the palate before the fine web of tannin starts to draw everything in. Glorious.
