2020 Joseph Faiveley Bourgogne Pinot Noir

Domaine Faiveley is one of the biggest domaines in Burgundy with the fruit for this Bourgogne being sourced mainly from plots situated in Côte de Nuits, Côte de Beaune and Côte Chalonnaise. Deep dark red black tinged colour showing excellent depth. The nose is very pretty with fragrant violet, red cherry and red currant scents trailed by some fresh herb, subtle dusty earth and spicy cedar notes. Light in body delicious red cherry and ripe red currant fruits show terrific freshness with infusions of fresh herbs, earth and spicy cedar lying in the background. Slightly dryish finish with polished tannins and a very savoury red fruited aftertaste.
Drink over the next 4-5 years.
