Semi translucent bright red core with a crimson red hue. Fragrant scents of rose petals, ripe red cherries and strawberries sail effortlessly out of the glass trailed by forest floor, fresh herbs and spice notes. Light and fresh in its feel, the palate is decorated with delicious cherry and strawberry fruits which meld into forest floor, subtle meaty characters and spicy fresh herb infusions. Supple yet bright with polished, finely grained tannins and a lengthy finish.
Drink over the next 5-6 years.

Other Reviews…
Well, this is quite a contrast to the robust 2019. More like 2012 or even 2005 here, maybe.
Strawberry and spice, almond, mint and floral perfume. Light and fresh, plenty of crunch and vivacity, a sappy feel, though flavour is ripe and emphatically red-fruited. Fine dusting of tannin, a slight earthiness, and a bright long finish offering bite and ‘mineral’ feel. Comes up in the glass very well, and I’d say it will perform really well with cellaring. Pure and classic styling. Very good. More to come. Drink 2022 - 2030.
