2020 Heathcote Creek Shiraz

Matured in 1 year old French oak for 16 months. Deep black dark red in colour with a dark red hue. Peppery aromas of dark plum and liquorice are followed by some smoky vanillin cedar and earthy dried meat notes. Medium bodied red to dark plum and liquorice fruits show moderate concentration and power with smoked meat, vanillin cedar and peppered earth characters lying underneath. Fine grained tannins with a savoury conclusion of modest length.
Drink over the next 2-3 years.
