Semi translucent dark red in colour with black tinged edges and a light red hue. Lifted dark cherry, plum and anise scents intermingle with forest floor and spicy dried herb notes. Amply fruited with dark cherries and dark plums the palate has an earthy back drop with some anise, dried herbs and spice also evident. Fleshy mouthfeel with fine grained tannins and a generously fruited aftertaste.
