The 2020 Saint-Véran unwinds in the glass, shedding a touch of youthful reduction to reveal as yet only partially formed aromas of smoky orchard fruit, white flowers and grapefruit. Medium to full-bodied, layered and tightly wound, it's chalky and incisive, derived from north-facing lieu-dit Carette.
