Hand-harvested fruit from the estate vineyard in Seppeltsfield. Basket pressed, matured 21 months in seasoned American oak barrels. Unfined and unfiltered. The savoury, dried sage signature of mataro is well married to the satsuma plums and blackberries of ripe Seppeltsfield, eloquently backed by fine-grained American oak. A long finish of powder-fine tannin and bright acidity carries lingering rhubarb freshness that completely trumps its alcohol. Skilfully composed and great value. Drink by 2026.
