Matured for 9 months in French oak. Brilliant pale straw colour with a distinct greenish tone lining the edges and a watery hue. Ripe pear and nectarine aromas morph into subtle dried honey, biscuity oak, citrus and gun flint notes. Fleshy nectarine and grapefruit flavours are scattered across the palate with traces of biscuity oak, citrusy nougat and infusions of gun flint evident on the back half. Lively well balanced acidity with a long subtlety creamed conclusion.
Drink over the next 5-6 years.

Other Reviews….
Matured 9 months in French oak. 2020 was a warm, compact and early vintage, which, when you take into account the small berries and low yields, was responsible for wines of relative scarcity and power. Salted preserved lemon, yellow peach and brine on the nose. Even at first glance, this has all the concentration and complexity that we have become accustomed to from this label. On the palate, it is both graceful and heady, with flavour packed into every corner of the glass. Drink by 2028.
