Pitch black heart with a very deep dark red black tinged hue. Filling the nostrils are aromas of ripe morello cherry and liquorice which intermix with some earthy dried herb and cinnamon spice notes. Rich, bold and chewy, the weighty palate is awash with lush morello cherry, black cherry and liquorice fruits which are framed by a firm tannin structure. Earth and cinnamon spice elements sit in the background. Lively acidity with a long, ripe yet robust finish.
