A blend of 88% Cabernet Sauvignon and 12% Malbec matured for 14 months in 15% new French oak hogsheads. Dense inky black heart with a deep dark red black tinged hue. Aromas of blackcurrant and mulberry meld into more subtle cedary tobacco, dusty black olive and bay leaf notes. The spicy medium bodied palate features blackcurrant and mulberry fruits over a cedary tobacco character, dusty earth and bay leaf back drop. Dryish, slightly grainy tannins lend some firmness to the medium length aftertaste.
