2020 Evans & Tate Redbrook Estate Chardonnay
Rich and creamy textured with a keen line of acidity lending a vibrant freshness.
Brilliant pale straw colour with a glimmering green tint to the edges and a watery hue. Aromas of nectarine and lemon butter have a toasty overlay with hints of bees wax and gun flint also evident. Rich and creamy textured with a keen line of acidity lending a vibrant freshness, the mid weighted palate features ripe nectarine, pear and bees wax flavours over roasted almond, lemon butter and infusions of gun flint. Lively yet slightly waxy finish.
Drink over the next 4-5 years.

Other Reviews…..
A fine-boned and delicate style with millefeuille layers of flavour: lemon and zest, creamy lees and oak spices with a hint of moreish sulphides. It’s a touch savoury with fine acidity and very pleasing, even if it finishes a tad short. Drink by 2030.
