2020 Elderton Neil Ashmead Grand Tourer Shiraz

Sourced from vines aged between 31 and 66 years old with maturation taking place in French oak puncheons of which 40% were new for a period of 17 months. Impenetrable inky black heart with a very deep dark red black hue. Heady dark plum and liquorice aromas meld into vanillin cedar, hints of graphite, scorched earth and blackpepper. Rich and super plush the palate is layered with spicy dark plum and liquorice fruits. Lying underneath is vanillin cedar, earthy dried herb and blackpepper characters. Silky smooth tannins finishing long and luxurious.
Drink over the next 5-6 years.
