Dense inky black heart with a deep dark red black tinged hue. Pronounced aromas of liquorice, plum and fennel fill the nostrils followed by smoky cedar, earthy black olive and pepper notes. Rich opulent blackberry, liquorice and choc mint flavours carry a dense texture and completely engulf the palate. Fennel, smoky vanillin cedar and peppered earth characters lie underneath. Velvet smooth yet sturdy tannin structure. Outstanding power and concentration with a long decadent mint laced finish.
