2020 Duke's Magpie Hill Reserve Shiraz

Impenetrable inky black colour with a deep black dark red hue. Rising from the glass are amplified aromas of red to dark plum, liquorice and subtle violet followed by vanillin cedar, earth and pepper. Rich and polished the medium weighted palate features lush yet fresh blackberry, red plum and liquorice fruits underscored by a robust tannin structure. Vanillin cedar, dusty earth and peppered herbs ensue. Lively acidity with a slightly grippy yet long, elegant finish.
