2020 Domaine Lefebvre d'Anselme Trilogie Cotes du Rhone

Domaine Lefebvre d'Anselme is owned and run by Louis and Béatrice, now joined by their Son Marin, and is located in Sabran north west of Lirac. Production consists of whites, reds, and rosé within the Cotes du Rhone and Vin de France appellations, with the stand out wines their pair of Trilogie Cotes du Rhone. The white is a blend of 60% Roussanne and 40% Grenache Blanc, and is fresh and engaging showing the supple texture and complexity of the style. Their Trilogie red is a blend of 50% Grenache and 50% Syrah, and is no ordinary quaffing Cotes du Rhone. Just above medium weight, it's the deft mix of spice and garrigue notes combined with lush and incredibly pure fruit that is so engaging. Don't be surprised to see this evolve gracefully in the cellar for many years ahead. Both are an exciting addition to our shores.
