2020 Domaine Jean Tardy Vosne-Romanee Vigneux
Other Reviews....
Black color. Here the nose is sufficiently reduced to impede an assessment though there is a lovely sense of verve and freshness to the velvety and delicious medium-bodied flavors that coat the palate with sappy dry extract that imparts a lovely texture to the dusty, serious and well-balanced finale. Very fine quality. Drink from 2028+.

From a site below Les Suchots, the 2020 Vosne-Romanée Vigneux offers up notes of rose petals, spiced plums and berries. Medium to full-bodied, velvety and enveloping, it's bright and fleshy, concluding with a saline finish.

The 2020 Vosne-Romanée Vigneux, which Tardy mentioned tends to producer lower natural acidity, actually had better than average acidity in this vintage. This has an open-knit, well-defined bouquet with slightly minty red fruit. The palate is well balanced with juicy tannins, not complex, maybe a little attenuated towards the finish, but there is fine freshness here. Drink over the next 6-8 years. Drink 2023-2032.

Almost black purple in colour with purple edge. A rather riper nose, nearly cooked cherries but actually still very attractive. Gorgeous fruit on the palate, fully ripe raspberries, tannins fully integrated and not too much acidity, very well balanced and extremely long. Quite floral.
