Other Reviews....
A very pretty, airy and cool nose reflects notes of green apple, citrus and floral wisps. The vibrant and beautifully detailed middle weight flavors are not super dense but do offer very fine depth and persistence. Note that this lovely Puligny villages could be enjoyed young or cellared for a few years first. Drink from 2025+.

The 2020 Puligny-Montrachet Village mingles aromas of citrus oil with hints of nutmeg, white flowers and almonds. Medium to full-bodied, satiny and saline, with tangy acids and a pretty core of fruit, it concludes with promising length. It's the finest rendition of this cuvée since 2017.

The 2020 Puligny-Montrachet Village has quite an intense and voluminous bouquet, quite Chassagne-like in style. The palate is taut and fresh with Clementine and apricot notes, modest weight with a lilting finish. Fine. Drink 2023-2030.

Lovely vibrant and refreshing colour with a green gleam. The bouquet is unusually extrovert for this stage here. Fresher and longer but less rich than 2019, still very youthful, almost yeasty. Good tension, very appealing all round, with classical Jacques Carillon structure. More class than 2018 too, I think. Ripe citrus notes to finish.

Very refined, crisp, touch of reduction on the nose and palate, this is a lovely, lean and delicate iteration of Puligny. Certainly more precise than the broader Chassagne, there are intriguing notes of citrus and lime zest, allied to subtle mineral notes. 20% new oak is very restrained. Worth keeping for at least 12 months to allow more flavours to emerge. Drink 2023 - 2027.
