Other Reviews....
Ripe yet fresh and cool aromas include those of petrol, various white orchard fruit and a whiff of citrus rind plus a hint of acacia blossom. There is excellent intensity to the attractively textured medium-bodied flavors that deliver very fine length on the compact and much more structured finale. This lovely effort would benefit from having better depth, but more should reasonably develop if it is held for at least a few years first. Drink through 2027+.

The 2020 Chassagne-Montrachet Enseigneres has a brisk, stony bouquet with hints of pressed white flowers and chai tea. The palate is well balanced, the 15% new oak just lending a little weight, very composed and harmonious towards the finish with perfectly judged acidity lending real tension. This comes recommended. Drink 2023-2038.

Neal Martin - Vinous

Pale lemon colour nothing much showing up front on the nose, feels like optimum ripeness. Certainly, the fruit builds very well on the plate with a little sucrosity, then waves of white fruit behind. Plenty to enjoy here in this Chassagne made on white wine soil. Good length.

Jasper Morris MW - Inside Burgundy

Classic aromas of ripe apple, hazelnut and butter - it's a bit of a fat boy. Yet, it should definitely please fans of rich white Burgundy. Sauzet farms a half-hectare here, down the slope from Bâtard and just north of premier cru Vide Bourse. The soils are the same type of clay one finds in the grand crus, but it lacks a bit of finesse. Drink 2025 - 2040.
