A fresh and slightly fruity nose speaks mostly of floral, citrus and apple scents. The sleek, delicious and attractively vibrant middle weight flavors that offer better than average depth and length on the clean and nicely dry finale. Worth a look. Drink through 2024+.

The 2020 Bourgogne Blanc, aged in used barrels and one-quarter in foudres, had been racked in July. It offers light lime flower and green apple aromas. The palate is fresh with a citric entry, straightforward with a steely finish. Fine. Drink 2022-2026.

Glowing pale lemon, touch tightened up by the racking. Then some quite powerful aromatics start to emerge. Yellow fruit, so clearly ripe, but with tension behind. On the chunky side but very agreeable.
