2020 Domaine des Hates Chablis

Bright pale straw to straw colour with a watery hue. Lifted pear aromas laced with wet slate are trailed by some lime, gun flint and oyster shell like notes. Delicious pear and green apple flavours are enveloped by wet slate with oyster shell and infusions of gun flint in the background. Nicely rounded on the mid palate, it finishes dry with brisk acidity and a lingering slate driven aftertaste that shows good tension.
Drink over the next 3-4 years.
