Other Reviews....
An airy, cool and very pretty nose offers up a plethora of floral elements that add elegance to the aromas of red and black cherry, discreet earth and a smoky hint. The supple, round and delicious medium weight flavors exude a subtle minerality on the similar finish in that there is good length and balance though not yet the complexity it needs to merit a higher projected range. Drink through 2028+.

Allen Meadows - Burghound

The 2020 Gevrey-Chambertin Bel-Air 1er Cru contains 50% whole bunch. Bunches of rose petals and violets on the very floral bouquet, this is well-defined and quite expressive. The palate is medium-bodied with blackberry and raspberry fruit, quite dense for Bel-Air with a structured and slightly saline finish. Give this 3-5 years in bottle. Drink 2025-2042.

53% whole bunches. Darker crimson to purple. A pleasing bouquet with more cherry here than most. The cherries are very expressive every year, even in the fermenting vat, Sylvie notes. Quite powerful by Vougeraie standards with a drier finish.
