he reputation of Domaine Confuron-Gindre is slowly spreading around the world now that they have starting allowing sales outside of private clients and a select few distributors in Europe. François Confuron-Gindre created the domaine in 1989 with his wife Claudine, and he has now been joined by their son Edouard, who has begun to refine the wines while continuing their structural and age worthy style.

This is mostly pinot, with just 10% gamay. Deep black with purple rim. Tougher tannins behind but i really like the intensity of the not overripe dark fruit. Should be fun when it has settled down.
