2020 Domaine Chalmeau Bourgogne Aligote

Brilliant pale straw colour with subtle tinges of green around the outskirts and a watery hue. Aromas of pear, lime and quince have an overlay of gun flint and wet slate. Nicely rounded in the mouth yet also possessing an energetic freshness and plenty of intensity, the mouth watering palate features pear, lime and green apple fruits over a wet slate, smoky mineral and oyster shell like back drop. Finishes dry with crisp acidity and a long refreshing river stone infused aftertaste.
Drink over the next 2-3 years.
