2020 Dandelion Vineyards Lioness of McLaren Vale Shiraz

Matured in French oak barriques (20% new) for 18 months. Magnificent colour displaying a super saturated inky black heart with an equally deep black dark red hue. Lifted dark plum, blackberry and liquorice scents combine with vanillin cedar. Traces of earth and spice also chime in. Rich dark plum and liquorice fruits make a plush entry with fresh blackberry, subtlety toasted vanillin cedar and dried herb characters lying underneath. Peppery finish with fine grained tannins, bright youthful acidity and a generously fruited medium to long aftertaste.
Drink over the next 5-6 years.
