2020 Dalwhinnie Mesa Shiraz

Dense pitch black heart with a dark red black tinged hue. Emanating from the glass are pepper laced scents of black cherry and liquorice followed by some dried meat, scorched earth and leather notes. Rich black cherry and liquorice fruits dominate the palate with notions of scorched earth, dried meats and peppered herbs lying underneath. Fleshy mouth feel with chewy tannins imparting some grip onto the long finish that’s concentrated, muscular and deeply fruited.
Drink over the next 5-6 years.
