KJ continues its exceptional form. Glorious wine. The sample came with a very interesting Wadandi six seasons guide which reflects the movement of work at Cullen too. A very good document and worth seeking out from Cullen.
Cruises across the palate with such beauty and form, a subtle richness, that saline mineral freshness these wines get, licks of nougat savouriness and a cavalcade of just ripe stone fruit, pulpy grapefruity freshness and green apple. Lovely perfume too, flint, lots of spice, more of the nutty-savouriness, stone fruit and green apple again. It feels powerful but the drinkability is through the roof too. Outstanding in every sense, such an impact as you drink it; class, energy, detail in spades. Drink 2021 - 2040.

Mike Bennie - The Wine Front (November 2021)

Hand picked across 3 days according to the biodynamic calendar. Wild ferment, matured in French oak for 6 months (50% new), 100% mlf. 2020 was a fast and short vintage with heartbreakingly low yields in Margaret River, yet it produced wines of effortless grace and poise. This is most certainly one of those. Like a rhythmic pulse of flavour in the mouth ... steady, like a heartbeat. All elements are in harmony: fruit, acid, phenolics; they gently seesaw between each other, spooling out a seemingly never-ending trail of flavour. Breathtakingly beautiful, again. Drink by 2035.
