2020 Craigie Knowe White Label Pinot Noir

An exceptionally moreish Pinot Noir.

Located on the Freycinet coast of Tasmania, Craigie Knowe Vineyard was first planted in 1979 by then Hobart dentist John Austwick.
Matured in old 228 litre French barriques for 6 months. Semi translucent bright dark red core with black tinged edges and a light crimson hue. A delightful bouquet of violets, ripe red cherries and strawberries engulfs the olfactory senses with subtle anise, fresh herb and spice elements also present. Light yet intensely flavoured the palate is flooded with juicy red cherry and strawberry fruits that expand across the breadth of the palate like a peacocks tail. Notions of anise, subtle forest floor and spicy fresh herb infusions chime in on the back half. Silky smooth tannins finishing with resounding freshness and a long super delicious aftertaste.
Drink over the next 3-4 years.
