2020 Coulter Wines C2 Sangiovese

This wine underwent carbonic maceration with 10% whole bunches included in the fermentation process. Dark red in colour with black tinged edges and a bright dark red hue. Freshly crushed cherry, red raspberry and red currant scents have a fresh herb and graphite overlay with hints of spicy earth also present. Ripe with a youthful jubey feel, the mouth is awash with bright raspberry and cherry fruits which are underpinned by vibrant acidity and slightly chalky tannins. Infusions of fresh herbs, light tobacco and spice sit on the back half. Rustic yet fruit driven aftertaste.
