Aged in French oak hogsheads. Impenetrable inky black heart with a very deep dark red black hue. Blackpepper infused aromas of black cherry and liquorice are followed by spicy vanillin cedar and earth. Medium to full bodied, rich dark to black cherry and liquorice fruits are underpinned by spicy vanillin cedar and peppered earth characters. Bright acidity and structured tannins imparting a muscular feel. Concludes long yet relatively tightly coiled.
