2020 Contini Tonaghe Cannonau di Sardegna

Made from predominately Cannonau (Grenache) with the addition of 10% indigenous black grapes. Semi translucent red to dark colour with black tinged edges and a light red hue. Spicy red raspberry, cherry and red liquorice scents mix with crushed rock like notes and subtlety peppered herbs. Juicy and fresh the light to mid weighted palate sports a delicious mix of red raspberry, red liquorice and cherry fruits over crushed rock, spicy herb and pepper elements. Polished tannins with vivid acidity leading into a vibrant red fruited aftertaste.
Drink over the next 2-3 years.
