Matured for 22 months in predominantly American oak (20% new). Dense inky black heart with a very deep black dark purple hue. Wafting out of the glass are lavish aromatics of dark plum, liquorice and vanillin oak followed by some mocha and spicy earth notes. Rich and opulently textured, plush dark plum and liquorice fruits overlay prominent vanillin oak, mocha and spicy earth elements. Velvet smooth tannins with a long vanillin oak laden finish.
