Pitch black heart with a deep dark red black tinged hue. Nosing offers up a mix of morello cherry, black plum and liquorice scents followed by hints of graphite, vanilla and cinnamon. Rich, dense and chewy, luscious morello and black cherry fruits combine with liquorice and blackberry over a scorched earth and spicy dried herb back drop. Bright acidity and a sturdy tannin structure provide the necessary support. Concludes long, ripe, juicy and fresh.|
