2020 Chateau Tanunda The Chateau Bethanian Shiraz

Matured for 18 months in new and seasoned French and American oak barrels. Dense black as night heart with a deep dark red black hue. Liquorice and dark plum aromas jump out of the glass followed by some vanillin cedar, scorched earth, fennel and pepper notes. Rich voluptuously textured flavours of dark plum, liquorice and blackberry flow effortlessly across the palate with vanillin oak, earthy dark chocolate and spice characters also chiming in. Silky smooth tannins with a long opulently fruited conclusion.
Drink over the next 5-6 years.
