A richly fruited yet earthy Bordeaux with a gentle firmness to the finish.
A blend of 75% Merlot and 25% Cabernet Sauvignon. Midnight black heart with a dark red black tinged hue. Elevated aromas of blackcurrant and liquorice mix with earth, vanillin cedar, hints of black olive and spice. Rich blackcurrant and liquorice fruits swamp the mouth and carry with them a well fleshed feel. Notions of scorched earth, vanillin cedar and spice lie underneath. Excellent concentration and power with a sturdy tannin structure lending a gentle firmness to the long richly fruited yet earthy finish.
