2020 Chalk Hill Europa Shiraz

Black as night heart with a deep dark red black hue. Pronounced aniseed scents drive the nose with notions of black cherry, vanillin cedar, scorched earth and black pepper ensuing. Rich dark plum, liquorice and dark cherry fruits cast an inky feel across the medium to full bodied palate. Earthy black pepper tones and subtle spicy vanillin cedar lie in the background. Finishes with a youthful vibrancy, slightly dryish grainy tannins and a long black pepper infused aftertaste.
