Midnight black core with a deep dark red black tinged hue. Filling the nostrils are aromas of dark plums, liquorice and mocha with some vanillin oak, earth and spice notes also chiming in. Rich and opulent the palate is generously endowed with dark plum, liquorice and blackberry fruits. Lurking underneath are spicy vanillin oak and earthy dark chocolate elements. Relatively firm it has velvety tannins and finishes plush yet a touch grippy.
