Midnight black core with a dark red black hue. Intense ripe blackberry and liquorice scents are complimented by vanillin oak with hints of scorched earth and pepper also evident. Rich and full the opulent palate is decked out with plush dark plum, blackberry and liquorice fruits. Spicy vanillin oak, fennel and pepper characters then ensue. Good freshness with a velvet like tannin structure and ample power to the long seductive conclusion.
